The exhibition "A House Accumulating Time" focuses on the 'time of accumulation' in crafts, highlighting the process by which the body, objects, and space form relationships through ceramic furniture and structural objects. The exhibition venue, the Gongye Byeoldang hall at the Seoul Craft Museum, goes beyond being a simple backdrop; it functions as a house that creates new living landscapes based on the interaction between objects and viewers. In crafts, the act of hands pressing, stacking, and weaving clay is not merely an expansion of materials, but a process of recording the creator's breath, labor, and senses within the material. The three artists, Go Gyun, Lee Myung-jin, and Moon Hye-ju, each use different methods to build up clay, such as coiling, architectural construction, and repetitive labor. Through this, they present ceramic furniture, architectural objects, and organic sculptures, exploring the possibility of objects being reinterpreted as future artifacts, architectural structures, or traces of labor. Visitors can walk among the artworks, closely encountering the size, weight, and balance of the objects, and experience how objects change body posture and spatial experience. This exhibition views a house not as a possession, but as a 'structure where time and relationships are layered,' and questions the ways in which crafts organize our lives and spaces from various perspectives.
