The "13th Nakdong River Gupo Naru Festival" is a major cultural and tourism festival in the region, held in the beautiful Hwamyeong Ecological Park. It is based on the history and culture of Gupo, which was a representative ferry and a logistics hub on the Nakdong River. With the slogan "Connect, Play, Meet! Gupo Naru," the festival will be held for 3 days from October 16 to 18, offering a variety of programs including performances, exhibitions, experiences, and food, creating a space where everyone of all ages can enjoy. In addition to a space that recreates the old appearance of Gupo Naru, the festival will feature various content such as Gupo Guksu (noodles) platters, noodle-making experiences, ecological experience programs, wellness programs, and the Nakdong Book Fair. Furthermore, programs where residents directly participate, such as the Gupo Naru Song Contest and the "Our Neighborhood Open Busking" event, will be operated, adding to the joy of viewers and local residents creating the festival together. After sunset, night-time content such as the Gupo Naru Night Walk and the Garden of Light, as well as the "Byeolbada Busan" night market, will continue, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful autumn nights of the Nakdong River. At Gupo Naru, where history, culture, nature, people, taste, and fun are intertwined, you can create special autumn memories with family, friends, and neighbors.
