The 2026 Geumjeongsan Fortress Festival, which reflects the value of Geumjeongsan, newly designated as a national park in 2026, will be held for 3 days from October 16 (Friday) to October 18 (Sunday) at the Geumjeongsan Fortress Plaza and surrounding areas. Based on Geumjeongsan Fortress, a representative cultural heritage of Geumjeong-gu, Busan, and Geumjeongsan National Park, which is the largest mountain fortress in South Korea, this festival is a historical, cultural, and artistic event held annually to commemorate the construction of Geumjeongsan Fortress.
